Dragon Ball Z Live
Dragonball is an upcoming 2009 American live-action film adaptation of the Dragon Ball media franchise. The story centers around the adventures of the lead character, Goku, from his childhood into adulthood. The film began development in 2002, and is directed by James Wong and produced by Stephen Chow. It is scheduled for release on April 3, 2009. Actor Justin Chatwin was cast as Goku, and James Marsters will be portraying Lord Piccolo, the antagonist of the film.
Summary
The story begins with a young humanoid boy named Goku, who discovers that he was sent to Earth to blend in and destroy our population but instead elects to protect it from an oncoming alien onslaught bent on dominating the universe and controlling the mystical objects. He seeks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. wow, seriously this is a horrible version of what the real film should look like. To be quite honest I don’t think a dragonball z movie with real people can be done. It’s really hard to get that dragonball a essence into a live film….. It would take an extremely good director to make the film look authentic. I think they should try a different approach on this; maybe they should try to do an animated movie like final fantasy advent children which to me is most real I’ve ever seen and I think a real good dragonball z could come out of it. Square enix should make this make, not hollywood, the suck : P

for me.. if there is not krillin there is no DBZ. Krillin was best friend of Goku and their relations was one of the best things in DB.

a few years ago i thought to myself it would be great and awesome to make a movie of DBZ… as soon as i saw the official trailer i couldn’t believe my eyes!!! that’s not dragonball..I’m sorry to say but Goku is hell out of proportion and looks like an emo kid. Krillin is not even there and Yamcha is damn blonde which he should have been with dark long hair. and what about Bulma? and those nice modified cars? this is not Fast the Furious I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time but i am still gonna watch it only to see the mistakes and the useless things Hollywoodies invent..

first thats realy ballsy if i were a directer theres no way in the right mind i would even try it. no way thats crazy the fan base off dragon ball and dragon ball z and so on would be so outraged no krillin thats crazy wight goku nice but the way holywood has skiped over so many important facts when making movies that are based off of outer things weather it be comics books or even a bad ass show as dragon ball this will be fun to see

oh oh , there was another Live comedy action movie about dragonball , made in hongkong in 199x or ealier, i seen it like 10 or 15 years ago so…. gonan be hard to find it now . dragonball + extension pole, and in the end goku was beat by picolo, but mange to kill him , bc picolo swallow the others 6 dragons balls , and when goku put the last 4 star dragon ball to picolo stomach, he exploded and teh dragon appear. hope they wont copy that thou.
